Hi again ;=)

Her are the two helmets i got in this years first helmet deal:
M35 DD lw and M18 DD heer (tranny).

An excellent start to the year!... These 1st pattern adlers are not easy to find either. Very nice helmets!...

Can you share the M35's batch number and maker - hard to tell from the photos? Can you also tell if on the national colours decal on the M35 if the red layer of paint has a very subtle edge over the white? Meaning that if you run your nail lightly from the white to the red that it bumps on a slight raised red surface. A loop may help.

HG Division wore regular coloured Luftwaffe helmets, you are probably referring to the armour caps - in which case black would be correct.

Thanks all for the nice comments on these two helmets.

The helmet are an ET66 whit the batch nr: 3348
About the tri-collor, here i am a bit unshure, but what i can see on the lower white/red end, is that the red collor seems to overlap the white.
There is a half mm of the red color missing there and i can se white under.

The helmet is dark blue, my pictures arent the best.
But becouse this stamp inside, i bellive it was used by a flak unit.
I read it as:
5. staffel
F.L.K.-G. 257

Any thoughts about this?
