I won't take credit. My points on the liner are just bits I've pieced together from my reference books. But I trust what was said in them, and your confirmation of the date on the liner band supports it as well.

I do think that the "guy" noting the liner issue would generally be correct. But just not in this rare case.

But has it been applied on an older decal that has been removed?
