Does this 1941 dated chinstrap look ok?
The maker mark doesn't appear in any list of repro/fakes that I've found but that doesn't mean anything... Pics not the greatest, not mine. Sewed part looks a bit odd, black thread? Shouldn't the leather be cut off just after the sewing?

G Schiele is copied a lot , Rastantiks has a couple of these repro's and I came across a Dutch dealer selling fake G schiele straps as well only last week. (selling them as Original !)
This one is a good one although I like to see a photo of the other side of the buckle.
Thx for the info. I did some more research and did find a disturbing number of GSL chinstraps out there, so that worried me, but I also compared the pics with a few originals and it looked ok. Here are the rest of the pics.
It's 100% Original.
