Sorry for late reply Doug and thanks for the comment, Ive been poorly over the new year with man flu here is the LBA stamp on the chin strap I cant make it out ?

It's "Klopfer" IMO, a chinstrap manufacturer at Berlin. However I am surprised that there is no indications of year and location stamped too.

Looks like the maker stamp on the strap, LBA stamp usually in the liner. Signifys early LW pre-38 I believe.
