Double Decal Polizei M40, Q64, Lot #DN379

I promise better pics when this one arrives.
It is my first polizei helmet! These are probably my absolute favorite Third Reich combat helmets, not sure why. Lots of polizei lids in this lot number range, and there are some interesting things written on the liner which I should be able to translate once I have it in my hands and can decode the suetterlin. It is in 100% untouched, out of the woodwork condition. The writing looks like a unit marking or name, and then a date of 15.9.43.
Since the police were administrated by the SS, this is also my first SS helmet... technically... and you can't tell me that it isn't! Because it is!
