I have the same helmet. Does anyone know what the slot in the back is for?
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

    Firmly in the 'gret-lion-emblem' club.
    Odd but not unappealing-looking helmet.
Always warms the heart, when there are other odd looking helmet out there; my Danish M1923 helmet dont have to take all the FLAK for being funny looking!
Collectors of German helmet jeer, point their fingers and tease me because of the lid, collectors can be a cruel bunch of people!!!!
