First M42 stahlhelm

Hey guys.I just bought my very first M42 helmet It is stamped with NS 66 B01 ,its arriving in 2 weeks so i don't have pictures of it.
Unfortunately it's missing the inner ring and i don't know what size it should be.Can you help?

I think a size 66 shell could be fitted with either a 58cm or 59cm head size liner, if that's what you meant.

Hi,the coralation seems to be that if you take the helmet size :ie SE 64, then take away 10 & add two,you will get the size of the liner band that you will require :ie 56. Leon.

Where did you buy it from? You can get a liner with little trouble, but it will cost you some money depending on condition. Ken N has a 66 liner for about $250 USd, if he still has it. Pretty good condition. Google German Helmes Inc

I bought it from ebay,and i have already found a liner, but thanks anyway for the info!
