Found a good deal for a ND Q64 M40

Hi guys,

I found what appears to be a good original Q64 M40 for sale for a really nice price- $280. It's twice named and still got the original liner. Looks like original paint that was maybe oiled or lacquered over, and maybe a little dinged up and rusty. But it's a nice price for a starter helmet. I'd pick it up if I had the money. I just wanted to pass it along and see if maybe a new collector here at the forum would like to get himself a nice starter helmet.

I Like the bullet dent - good german steel or a spent round - either way he was lucky.

I hope for the sake of the original owner that this was on a fence post in 1950 and not a head in 1944 at the time of firing! A nice helmet for the price. Leon.
