Mines in the process of being DD afrika korps here. I made the unforgiveable mistake of getting one of those stupid dodgy palm tree decals for it!!!!! Didn't know any better an I was sure they existed, now hav the correct here repro decals.....god I was dumb
yea i have one marked as such. bought knowing wasnt real. its a ss dd winter camo.if you did not know what you were looking at. you would swear it was real.someone did a great job making this helmet look old.maybe one day i will have areal dd ss. deadeye
WWII German helmets marked 'ET67' are Chinese repros, I believe, and a sure way
to discern from genuine, As mentioned, there was no size 67 on real WWII lids.
I've also seen the ones with edelweiss impressions. These are repro as well.
German helmets were made in 'even' sizes: 60, 62, 64, 66, 68 and 70. Size 60
and 70 are rather uncommon. As Davejb has said, some markings can be
lightly stamped and others obscured by paint. I don't think repros have
any lot numbers either.
Brand new, complete repros are normally $80 to $100 delivered.
An original but semi-relic shell will be slightly more.............

A repro I bought was 130$ in "used" condition. I like it. The lot number is ET67, oh well a fake but its cool. I will remember even number lots! Thank you guys for the help!
