The outer paint looks far too new to me, and that's from the perspective of a novice on these things.
Looks like a standard helmet that's been tarted up with a camouflage job, perhaps trying to be a Normandy Camo piece. That, and the loose liner rivets, point to a helmet that's been reworked to increase its appeal. If it were me, I'd pass on it. It's an original shell for sure, but I wouldn't like one that's been messed with to such a degree.

Better pics but same opinions, looks like the paint was applied post war ( like last week).

New outer paint, so why a pristine dome stamp... I would avoid it. If the IKE is still for sale it's probably a far better bet than this one.

Dome stamp & interior paint could be okay...but probably not.. NS 1939 heer helmets were a darker green. Did not realize it was an NS. Camo paint...NO
