I think it looks good, and the decal seems to be original, don't you think?

If you can judge decals like that you must have the best eyes in the world.
So far I only see a helmet that's been stripped of post war paint.

Normandie please post a decal closeup as it's impossible to tell if the decal is original or not with the photos. More helmet photos would be nice as well. Thank you

new pictures above, it seems like it has been painted yellow, but removed, this would effect the value, and it's not that nice as I was hoping for.

The layering of the paint is a bit odd. It looks almost as if the decal is on the really patchy layer under the blue. I've got an opinion but I'll reserve it until after the new pics.

I don't think your new pics worked btw Norm.

I'd say the decal is good but the helmet was butchered by the post war overpaint and the subsequent removal. It is what it is I guess but I like them untouched.

I was going to say I thought it was a bad one from the way the layers look to me, but I defer to your experience Frank.

Would love to see pics of the whole helmet!

I also agree the decal look good. Looks like its under the textured blue paint though. Defiantly suffered in the stripping of the post war paint.
