I think this shows some of the problems we face in determining KM vs. Heer.

Perfect example!

With fragments of decals, only a high quality macro lens or better yet, as noted, a USB microscope can give you the answer. And even then, not all the time.

Thats true. Thats why the champain decals transfer to fake.
