hello i picked up this helmet for 15 euros...it is on relic condition but repainted and also with replaced rivets....so it looks very original to me if you like other pictures feel free to ask for them

Not bad for 15 euros, it looks OK if you just want to have the cool profile on your shelf. Not much originality left though.

It is and original repainted m42 relic. 15e is a bit too much for the condition but it has potential to be restored.

yes i will try to restore it and make it look better...though it was a relic condition item so repaint does'nt affected the originality also i will try to find original rivets

the helmet on the link you posted has a kriegsmarine decal

I would not try to restore it. Leave it and enjoy it for what it is. Restoring it would cost a lot of money (for a 16yr old at least...) and it would never be anything more than a relic with repro liner and decal that would stick out like a sore thumb.

haha ok i will look forward to buying a new helmet that has original paint and a decal i dont want it to come with a liner cause then it will be very expensive :P maybe some day i will buy an original liner too (sorry for bad English though ) xDD
