Article about: Hello, just wanted to ask a few questions regarding ww2 German police helmets. Firstly are there many fakes about? Would a German police helmet have been green at any point in its lifetime?

    I have bought a similar helmet in La Paz, Bolivia... (Watch my post in WRF). I was told that some south-american armies were very much influenced by germany, some of them even had german officers. This might be the reason that helmet was found in Bolivia, or maybe it belonged to an old escaped NAZI....
    But yes, they seem to be sort of internacional indeed...
