Im looking to bid on this SD helmet (appears to be a m42), I know the photos are not that great, but they're all I've got for now.

Hi , I could not say one way or the other on the decal from these pictures but that liner is very unlikely to have been put into an M42 originally as seandm has already said(although not impossible as a field/parts replacement) From these pictures I would pass on it personally. Leon.
