M42 / 44/45 B / II prototype
This helmet I found years ago in America , I also posted long ago on a few pages that do not remember , but now flowing on the forum I found a topic of
M45 Helmets

where they speak precisely of this helmet.
Port numbers and letters not to the left flap as almost all German helmets but only on the rear flap ; the indicated codes are:
LF6 (this is what i can read ) and a 4-digit number referred but readable only three 362_
The leather has stamped as size 56 and inside of the liner there ' stamped 6/43 .
The rim is' marked but illegible, only recognize three numbers 251 .
However, it also seems camouflage , indeed it 'just .....

Oh this will be interesting. .. they are contentious as to their actual existance so this one ( that looks the part ) should generate some discussion for sure among the helmet experts!
