Just picked this one up in a trade it is heer, mounted on a marble base, and scratched into the paint on the bottom is "Russland 1941-42 Erinnerung oa"...cant make out last word Tocin? this one set me back $200 in trade. Sorry for pic quality..

Call me nuts, but I think all of these mini helmets started out on a base plaque.

Hi, this one definitely came with the base no way it is a lash up, its a nice piece of marble.
