I've got three of the BGS lids, even one of the early ones...... Though I wouldnt mind a close up of the stamp in the rear of the skirt.....

My thought was instantly BGS helmet. The color and liner is very significant.

Not a repro or BGS but an M52 Polizei helmet made by Linneman and Schnetzer - post war but genuine.

The other shell looks correct the stamp too, but what about the liner TBK? its different with the air holes in the leather. Your shell does not have it....what about that?

Apart from a fresher coat of paint and the Bavarian Police decal the helmets are almost identical - the holes in the sweat band just aren't visible in the photo.
