Heer camo helmet camo/wire??

Without close examination, this appears to be a rework. Original helmet, post war paint job. The majority of original camo jobs I have come across were hand painted. Original examples of spray jobs certainly exist, but I am always suspicious, as spraying equipment was not generally available. Most fakes I see are usually spray painted. Tri color has way too much damage relative to area around it. As if someone singled out the decal for abuse. I would need to study it close up. Name on liner ok as long as it's not done in ballpoint pen.
