Collectors Guild is among the highest priced dealers out there, no point in using their prices as reference IMO --- SVMilitaria, although impossible to reach, is at the entirely other end of the spectrum. I would say the lower estimate is about correct, anything even lower than that would of course be a bonus, for free would be tops

Thank you, I will do that.
Some of these sites are really high though.
That is why I have trouble valuing German helmets.
I am mostly a collector of US helmets.
I checked out SVM and it looks like $700 would not be unreasonable.
Always nice to find them this way, congratulations. Buy the way I'm also in the Commonwealth of PA. Where are you located?

Thank you for your kind comments.
I thought Collectors Guild was really high.
So I guess SVM is a good price gauge for me to use in the future.
I am in Montgomery County, right outside of Philadelphia.

I'm near Pittsburgh. Again nice score.

$7-800 would be pretty fair I think. Personally I value the larger lids higher (64,66,68) as the 62s seem almost childlike in size.
I agree. I have 60 size and it looks like it is from Baby Gap.

My helmet looks like a 6 7/8 US baseball cap size.
Just a guess on my part.
Size really doesnt matter to me (although that is what most men say)
I am more concerned with condition.

Well, did you do good or not ?? :-)
