what can i use to try to just clean the sa on the handle?dont want to mess with anything else but it looks like there is a bunch of crap on it?ok,maybe i should just let it be for the next owner?thanks guys!
i also got this can someone please let me know if its safe as i dont know what it is or what the little balls are its full?thanks
then i got these?
That is a nice flask Pammy. Eric is correct - it contains lead 'shot'
for a flintlock, or more than likely a mid 1800's era percussion
muzzle loading Long gun. The shot is supposed to be
let out in measured loads with the lever attached
to the side of the tube. Very cool !
Interesting button collection as well. There is quite
an assortment, plus there might be a few rare
and valuable ones in the group.
Great lot of stuff.........!
Regards,
Steve.
