all look really nice examples.
Why do i keep selling mine? Doh
One day I'm just going to buy, and refuse to sell anything
Nice helmets gents , love the one with the rubber band
here is a SE
Now that we have seen the pretty ones, I'll post some pictures of my M35 reissue. I bought it from the son of the vet that brought it back. Unfortunitely, he (the vet) allowed his children to play with it and they thought it would look nicer with some swastikas on the sides. They are not too noticable, but they are there. I have not tried removing them yet. Don't know if they are paint or felt-tipped pen.
The liner suffered from too much time in a hot, dry attic and too much time bouncing around on a little kid's head.
It does have the owner's name scratched inside the apron - "Fink".
Best Regards,
Mike
PS
I think the paint suffered from the post-war playing, too.
Francis........... A stunning helmet, if you'll excuse the pun
Nice one Francis with early liner , here's my SE with 1937 liner and hidden tricolor.

Francis and Schwerpunkt, you realize that by my putting pictures of my helmet between the pictures of your helmets, I have made your stunning helmets look even better!
You can thank me later!
Best Regards,
Mike
kinda fun posting mutch helmets on one topic gives a quick overvieuw
Here is my M35 reissue, which also curiously has tan paint underneath the grey and one helluva naming attribution. (Matches my last name. )
This is perhaps my worst conditioned helmet but will never leave my collection!
