Thank you Adrian, I appreciate it! What do you make of the decal remnant? I've read that it is okay for a 1943 dated liner band and DN35 lot# to have had a decal applied, what is your view?

I like it, great lid. Nice colour and finish to. With a lot number in that range I should think It would be perfectly fine to have a decal applied. Find it locally?

I wouldn't have the first idea on where to find German items over here! Do you have any tips?

Agreed, Helmets with lot numbers in that range include sd Heer examples.
