Heer M40 SD - Too good to be true?

Article about: Hi, I'm looking for a nice Heer helmet and just found this. I know it isn't the greatest, but it is listed for \\$800 (USD) I've seen plenty of similar helmets being offered at \\$1200 and up. W

Don't put a repro strap on it, buy an original or leave as is.

Don't worry, I did say that I will not be adding a repro chin strap.

I'll probably just buy a real one when money allows it.

I have decided to go with the following helmet :

Heer M40 SD - Too good to be true?

The first helmet was very clean, but it lacked a chin strap, and I prefer the dark-gray of the second helmet to the apple green of the first helmet.

    Thank you!

Turns out I changed my mind about the M35 at the last second and went with the M40. I also got a chinstrap for it from the Collector's Guild.

    Stay tuned for pictures!

Looking forward to seeing some pics when you get it.
Both looked to be quite nice helmets.

I'm glad I don't have to take you shopping for shoes....

Leave things as they are, is a must! But adding an original chinstrap doesn't hurt the helmet or doesn't changes the history of the lid...
