Will need better, straight on photo of the decal. NH
Maker, lot number and so close ups of the liner&band would help as well.
Lot number may help determine if this was a no decal helmet

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Hi, shell looks good, but paint, liner and decal look post war/repro, judging by those pics.
No way of telling from these images I am afraid. As the fella's have stated , good decal images and makers marks are necessary. Leon.
No more pics required, the liner is a known repro and paint/tooling marks have been created by a post war 'artist'. (I have a high resolution screen so maybe that helps) although I can't see the decal clearly I bet that's fake.
Liner looks like it could stand a chance IMO.
Hi, not one I would want, looks to be a completely re-worked helmet from this "sharper" image. The decal has had some "work" done on it as well for good measure! Leon.
Hi Filip, you are correct, the decal is weird looking, it's a repro, notice the heavy/dark print. Also, take note of the artificial rusting, especially around the air vent. If your friend is looking for a genuine helmet this is not the one.
