As always with Camos, provenance is king. It makes more sense to pursue Camo helmets where a line of provenance can be established. I am very skeptical of the "found in a building" story as it removes the need to pin point it to a veteran pick up. And that is what the person creating a Camo aims to do. With winter camos also remember by Spring 1945 no helmet in use would still be showing white paint or whitewash. So where did the Camo helmet come from? Was it picked up during the Battle of the Bulge? These are the sort of questions what need to be asked along side the usual physical scrutiny.
Having had quite a few original White camos over the years , i'm not keen on this one as Andy has quite rightly said the scratches look tooled and the wear unnatural , it just doesn't feel right.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
