Regarding the helmets authenticity, it would be best to ask the seller for photos of the decals. Which I assume it has as the seller hasn't posted photos of the sides of the helmet as ebay tend to remove any Nazi party related items showing SS Runes, Swastika etc....

Stay away from the auction if you want to save your money.
A real SS lid could cost more than 5.000 euros.

forget weather the helmet is real,what about the sellers feedback?honestly would you part with a large sum of money to this guy and hope there's a slim chance you might actually recieve it?stay well away,these un-savoury type is whats always killed ebay's reputation im afraid apart from the vast majority are straight up,dave.

You have done one thing correct here, and that is you came here and posted this very bad helmet prior to losing any money. Hats off to you on that. Stay away from eBay until you have enough helmet collecting experience to differentiate between authentic helmets and pieces and most of the junk that is on there, which is about all of it. eBay is a mine field. Stick to reputable dealers to start. You will spend more but will have good, authentic helmets with lifetime guarantees, and you will be fine. Welcome to the forum!
