Helmet Identification

Hey I just bought a new helmet a few days ago and I can't seem to find any markings on it and I'd like to know what type of helmet it is could anyone help me?

looks it indeed, lift the dot liner and chinstrap lugs low on the sides, late WWII (or early post WWII) until 1970/80's.

I always thought the rivets were a lot higher up on the helmet on wartime examples, although I could be wrong ?.....

I cant remember when the changeover took place, my wartime date example has them up high but mine is a mkiii. I never really spent much time looking at MKIV's to be honest.

I always thought they were first used in 1944 by the Canadians on D-Day ??

Here is my MkIV with low rivets. Assuming it is a 45 produced lid it should help with the timeline

(the stamping is very light so a date on the shell is hard to see but there is a "4". As the liner is dated 1945, I am assuming a 45 dated shell as well
