Probably badly stamped EF , F alone doesn't exist.

Thank you for the reply, It does look like there is somthing before the F, But could it be that badly Stamped? Helmet looks 100% legit, liner and chin strap look very worn. But that F64 looks funny, even the 4 in 64 is lite, but readable.

it's really possible I have a helmet & the lot # is very readable except for the last # is a 2 but is not stamped as good as the other 3 numbers, but if I look hard enough I can see it. also I have seen a lot of Quist helmets where the Q isn't stamped completely clear also.

Schwerpunkt & Crazy Horse, Thank you both very much, Since I found this site, and have seen all the fakes out there, I have become very suspicious of every little thing, But we do have to be vigilant when looking for authentic items.
    Thanks again. The Squarehead

EF made notoriously crude helmets. They had a pretty weak die for stamping manufaturer codes and lot numbers as well. It's not uncommon to see EF's stamped poorly to the point that the mark is illegible.
