Re: HELMET M35, eagle original??? opinion thanks.
I am still not sure about the shell - the smooth green paint on the inside and the liner with the squared chin strap bales. In the first picture it certainly looks to me as if there is a separate bushing insert, not a stamped vent. The exterior seems to me to have been repainted and then rubbed. I can't tell if there are signs of a tricolor on the right. Please post better pictures, and supply the lot # and maker/size information. If you have the time, could you also take a shot of the interior of the vents. Good pictures make a world of difference. Thanks in advance, Jim G.

Re: HELMET M35, eagle original??? opinion thanks.
Hello,
The interior this one repainted.
It is SE62.
I believe that the steel is of a M40 and the interior is a M35.
I do not have any more photos.
These photos me sending the seller.
The seller says that eagle 100 original %.
I to look at the photos and not to be sure.
All the money to be able to cost?
To ask 400euros.
That to do? To buy?

If it is an M40 shell I would guess none of the paint is WWII, and that the liner was married to the shell post war. At that price I would most definitely pass. Jim G.

Looks like an M40 to me as well (venthole pics it appears stamped not riveted), appears to be a grey lined decal - can we get a head on shot please, and maker / lotnr - but what is a grey lined decal doing on an M40? It also appears heavily scrubbed.
that's a good point Dougie Man, I'm tired this week

I would pass , not a one looker. Something has been done to the decal and the interior paint color looks odd. Perhaps this was a Norwegian helmet where they took the paint off.
