    Cant see any evidence of one there but the 'boy racer stripe / candy apple red' livery has to go ( unless it was one of Evel Knievel's early crash helmets ) .......

    haha, ok I wasn't sure. God I just cant stand what someone did to this helmet. It's almost worth just getting that crap off

    well I think I found it, but was trying to figure out what the letter after the number means

    A - E were used. 'A' denoted headquarters, B through E were for line companies.

    thank you for looking it up, Line officer from 45 regiment. Maybe this helmet needs to be restored to its past glory. Any suggestions with the paint removal? Danmark thinks there is not a decal on it so I wouldn't have to worry about it

    Its just that I can't see the outline of one under the paint.

    Acetone on a rag and apply gently and slowly seems to be the usual trick members use for paint removal.
