    Usually the shell size is visible on the inside of the skirt. Either under the left ear or at the back. The size will be something like 60, 62, 64, 66, 68 and maybe 70, but 70's are large and not seen much. Post some pics and we'll see how else we can help you.

    I already know that sir but the stamps are not visible due to rust

    Gotcha. If you have a tailor's cloth tape measure, you can wrap it around the shell and probably tell that way. It'll be close enough.

    If you can't read the shell size on the inside of the skirt due to corrosion, then measure around the outside of the shell around the area above the brim and subtract 2cm, that should give the shell size.
