Helmet trade.

Hi what are your thoughts on this as a trade in , it will be the helmet coming to me and in trade I will be sending My Katana and saw back back bayonet.

Wow...everyone will have their own take on this and it's really based on what you want but...

I myself would keep the Katana and Bayo. They appear to be in great shape. The helmet, while a camo is not (from what I can see) a true DAK and it is quite salty.

Would also need to consider it from monetary point of view. I'm terrible with estimates on prices but do the math and see if it adds up to an equal swap.

As Map has put at the end of the day its your choice but for me i would keep the sword and bayonet

Maybe a wiser move for me would be to sell the sword and bayonet privately and go for a better helmet for cash. Many thanks for both your input.

First check out the going rate for the type of helmet that you are looking for. That will give you a baseline.

The prices seem to vary a lot from the U.S and the U.K , you are right though a bit of research into sword / bayonet and helmet prices is needed on my half it seems.

Id keep the Sword and Bayonet.The Helmet would not be worth Monetarily as much as the collective worth of your items imo...you could sell yours and get a better helmet

I'm into blades, and one helmet is probably all I'll ever need, so to me, silly trade. Nevermind the sawback, I'd never trade the Katana for it, unless it has issues of course and you want to unload it...

I believe that Michael expressed my own opinion on the proposition as well. But, at the end of the day, everyone has different reasons and likes or dislikes and ultimately, it is a matter of what you, yourself, feel.
