    Hi Jerry,

    Ken N's book, "Germany's Combat Helmets 1939-1945" is a very good beginner's reference.

    Agree with Mo, if you want a one stop helmet book, then this is the one, though it does not cover WWI helmets unless they were reissued during the TR period.
