help with helmet

for me the decals are repro , applied on reissued luftwaffe M35 Helmet! (the liner band is in zinc without reinforcements)

Well i have decal doubt too ,dark gray (LW ?) over green and finally WH bird on?But book do not lie (early KM eagle light was exist) ,maybe i am wrong so better pics of decal will resolve all !! About linear you are right!

leaving out the shades of color, the decals are wrong in the design and proportions, and show artificial wear.
