We don't evaluate or give price estimates and it would help if you would give us a little more history about the helmet, the location, how you came across it, what information do you have about the helmet..

Not trying to sound obtuse but have you looked around the forum here to conduct your own research?

Just asking because I know there are a lot of fake helmets too.

Its a genuine helmet. Relic helmets like this are common and in this condition the value is very low.

That's fine that you are asking. We strongly encourage folks to have an item vetted here before wasting money, but it is also encourage to research and search for information as well.. Knowledge is power in this arena as it is in many other aspects..

Looks to be a nice relic helmet - M40 I think, the M35 had a separate vent hole which this doesn't look to have.
In this condition it should not be too pricey - have a search around for other examples, there are lots available.
