"Too minty" is not always a criteria for something that is be4ing faked. Proper care and storage can certainly account for excellent condition. This has likely been in storage since the mid 1930's. I like the look of this piece.

Not all Himmler helmets were used by the SS.
But this one looks good for me.

That is a very nice one.
If I am correct most of them never received any decals,just like this one.
