lucky this is not the real deal but just think if it was

IVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH EBAY ADMIN ON TWO OCCASIONS REGARDING THIS HELMET'S DECALS & WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO DEFACE THEM PERMANENTLY IN ORDER TO CONFORM WITH EBAY RULES,SO REGRETABLY IVE SCRATCHED THEM OFF WITH A KNIFE,AS MERELY COVERING THEM UP WASNT ACCEPTABLE WHICH I FULLY APPRECIATE

looks like a reproduction shell, no vent holes. the decals were located in the wrong place. wrong helmet liner. nice shiny black paint scuffed with sand paper.

the shell looks to be a post war version you can see the stamp on the back of the inside skirt & someones tried to make it look like a WW2 helmet but failed miserably !!!!

His attempt to explain the removal of fake decals because of ebay rules is at best asinine.
Ebay doesn't require that. What they want is no display of them.
