Hi Guys,

bought another "new" M40 for my collection today. I have little experience with field repaints.
But this one looks repainted. The decal also took a bit of a paint job.
All in all the leather is in fair condition and I liked it. Wonder if you guys like it also.
i have a 21 day return posibility, but IMO that wont be neccesary.

Hi Willem, don't you feel disappointed when your post doesn't get a reply?

We'd love to see the rest of the helmet to guage an overall feel and opinion but my first concern is that the decal is placed way too high - it should be much lower than where it is ( I forget the actual amount )

Hi Willem, Can't really comment much until we can see the whole thing from different angles and inside too. It looks interesting!

The decal is rather high.....maybe a careless soldat applying his own private purchase decal, or maybe his superior told him to repaint his helmet after seeing the badly applied decal

decal looks indeed very high, imopinion messed with, looking forward to see the liner . that will probarly look better
