Guys it is not that uncommon to find helmets fragments with remains of decals like this but many just get chucked away , someone has seen a market for them as a nice relic souvenir , maybe for those with a very small apartment !!

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
Imagine if it was an SS decal! Hmmm I should chop up my M35DD Luft and sell the pieces off for a profit, just kidding!!!!!!!!!!!
Never seen anything like this before but I like this relic! At least original piece of history.

Wow I would pass out if I ever found something like that in the ground! It is possible we found one about 4 years ago but not good condition as it had been lying on the surface !!
it is and expensive
Makes a cool display.
I really like it......
I dont collect relics but I as well really like this piece and if it was displayed as suggested would look sharp IMO.
