KM or Heer?

Hi, well i cannot tell you what the decal is as it is to damaged, i will say that the liner pins appear to be a different paint finish to the steel, so for me it looks like a replacement liner has been dropped in at best. Leon.

Correct Leon. In another thread (Collections), it was noted that the helmet has a replaced liner (but original liner band).

the decal definitely has that post war overpaint removed look. Not a KM in my opinion.

I just recently got a usb microscope, and I took some pictures of the golden eagle decal on my helmet, and I guess this shows that it is sadly a Heer helmet.
