Hello John , I'm afraid that eagle has been exposed as being fake.
Regimentals UK is selling them by the bucket load.

Also doesn't come close to being a KM with regards to color.

The helmet that's been posted in the beginning of this topic is clearly Heer.

Hi kevin, nice helmet. As Ade said don't apply anything to the liner or shell. I made the mistake of using mink oil on the lner of my only original M42 beacuse the it was completely dried out. It ended up darkening the liner quite abit. Thsi is my M42. Enjoy your helmet. Al

but why is it that the silver flakes by a toned heer just look like gold flakes
my 35 supposed to be a toned heer but i can se definedly see golden flakes as a KM
