You can buy a Celestron digital magnifier for about $100 and take hi res photos up to 200x magnification of decals. It reveals a lot esp when comparing real decals to fake decals. GHW has several excellent threads pinned on ADM (Advanced Digital Magnification)

Thats because the forum blocks certain sections until you become a "Veteran" member. To become a Veteran member you only need to make 2 threads and have 15 comments, its real easy. Then all the great databases unlock for veteran members. This is so guys who would just want to use the databases, which is the hard work of others, cannot, you must contribute to the collective knowledge base there to get the goodies!

Yes, its posted in the rules section there somewhere, Frank has a better grasp of it than I, eh Frank. ;-) My swiss cheese memory activates when it comes to forum rules....

Post a second thread of something in your collection or even a good discussion topic, once you have 2 threads you've contributed to the forum and I think 15 posts you get moved to Veteran status. Veterans are guys who get access to the complete forum because they have contributed to the collective knowledge base of the group. Its a sort of Communist thing...lol but it works!

I have already posted my 2nd thread and my posts are 45 so now i'm a veteraaaaaaaaan
