    RIP LUDWIG, when someone passes its always a sad time , but when someone who has had a profound influence on thousands of people passes,it seems more so , a true pioneer in the collecting world ,condolences to his family

    A sad thing to hear. His information and research has helped so many and will live on into the future.

    As others have said his help and knowledge along with his research will go on for years I have had and read his helmet book out of 1980's and his fire and police one what a loss to the collecting community I am sorry to hear this. timothy
