    Thank you for your replies I will try a new photo....I have looked at the Luftwaffe decal quiz and this is very informative......from the information I too believe the decal on this one to be real...feathering detail, position of foot on swastika and head detail look good...can I ask please what is the value of this helmet?....thanks Tommy

    A nice helmet mate!I believe the 2 letters are SE and then 66.To me it looks like an Sächsische Emaillier u. Stanzwerke shell(SE).
