Luftschutz Fire Helmet and Axe ?

Hi Forum
I have been offered this helmet and axe, I think the helmet is perhaps OK, it might be a Luftschutz Fire Helmet, but the axe is not from WWII ?

That style of Fire Helmet is still used in Germany , the axe also looks post-war . IMHO

Yes, both helmet and axe is post-war, but I was not 100% sure about the helmet

The liner looks post-war , but wait for others to comment .

I'd still love the Axe , very similar in design to the WWII Firemen Dress Axes .

Yes, so do I, seller wants about 60 Euro for the helmet and axe, I am thinking :-)

I believe the WWII helmets had 3 rivets , your example looks to have 4 .

Still a worthwhile group , even being post war . You could try and find WWII examples to match these .
