Luftschutz Gladiator Helmet Shell, real or fake?

Can someone tell me if this Luftschutz Gladiator helmet shell is real or fake, I have some suspicions about it and would like to know, thank you and these are not my photos of the helmet haha.

First one I have seen like that, looks ok, though exactly how you would place it in a display is a thought? Leon.

You can find a better one on the net, I think it's a late model, in one piece.

Looks like the paint was stripped. These in untouched condition complete with liner and chinstrap are fairly common an relatively inexpensive so I agree, you should wait for a better example. Jim G.

I think because a Cable were from the Vent to one hole for a Rivet it were used as a Lamp postwar
I have seen Relic helmets, M34 and Gladiators that were used as a Lamp

I'm assuming it's actually black....and just LOOKS "stripped" / grey in the pics?...but that's all too late now....
