Luftwaffe Helmet

I have found this helmet on Craigslist. What are your impressions of it? I wish I had one of the liner. Any help would be appreciated.

To me all the components look to be genuine, can't judge the decal as the picture is not good enough but it looks like it has been cleaned and lost detail either way. It is an M42 which has a raw edge but in the picture of the lot numbers there appears to be a rolled edge (or it may just be an optical illusion). You would need better pictures of the liner, split pins and strap to establish whether or not it has been 'put together'.

Coming from Craig's list I don't want to pay retail. I would like that helmet for around $4-500 depending on liner and all, and that it's not a put together helmet.
