Luftwaffe helmet, confirmation needed

I've been intending to buy a helmet from a militaria dealer for weeks now, but on the verge of having the money, he sold it. So in looking for a replacement I found this Luftwaffe M42; what's everyone's opinions? I've requested better pictures so hopefully all will become clearer over time, but hopefully someone can make something out of the current pictures.

Looks like it's been opened up to me. On the second picture it seems like the revet is loose.

Not unusual to have a loose rivit.
The helmet looks good in and out.
Depending on the price it would be a nice example for your collection.

Thanks - It's priced at £410; the previous example (which I actually think was inferior to this one) was priced at £475. What do you think of the cost? Worth it?

It seems a bit high to me, maybe more like £300-350, but I am a cheapskate!

Complete and representative, but I think closer to the $500 - $550 range. It is a nice one though. Jim G.

Hmm - I've found a similar helmet for £360, but I'm not sure if it's as good. What's everyone's thoughts?
