Hello experts and online friends.. rookie strikes back with maybe a good one this time.
Was interested if all on this helmet is original. Seems like. Not sure about the right decal and chinstrap.
The rest seems ok. I hope the pics are good enough.

Will be very thankful for some precious info. Thanks a lot!

    Cheers

Hi, I am a bit concerned with the decals from this image as the National shield appears "smooth" where as the Adler is "cracked", as though it has been lacquered. If both decals were lacquered I would be less sceptical, but we really need much better close up decal shots for a definitive answer. Leon.

Hello, thanks a lot. I asked for better pics and now I am waiting. As for the rest
it should be all genuine? Paint, liner and chinstrap.. soldier's name ecc?
If it turns out to be a all genuine, what could be the value? Around 1000$ I guess?
I do have one similar helmet of mine which has two decals which are in different condition
but are less suspicious or not at all. Real McCoy I'd say.
    Cheers

This helmet has been discussed on several forums so do not let yourself get pushed into buying it. It's been for sale for a while.
Two things stick out and that the decals appear rubbed as if something was removed from the exterior of the helmet , paint or something like that. The greyish color the first photo shows also seems to point to paint having been removed.
    Also the leather looks treated.
Personally I'd wait for a better one.

    Hello
Thanks a lot. I hope this ends all my doubts for now. I doubt someone will appear to contest that it is all genuine instead.
It was too much discussed previously as you said and the decals aren't what they should be. One must admit that they did
a good job there. If 3 color shield decal condition was more similar to the eagle then it would have been even more "dangerous".
many thanks.. will pass this one..

one last thing, the rivets holding the liner look like replacement or show wear not congruent with the rest of the helmet, replacement or repair maybe just my 2 cents. GenP
